Reviving a Legacy: Transforming Traditional Marketing Materials into a Modern Brand Identity

Sue - Creative Art Department

In today's fast-paced environment, established businesses must adapt to stay relevant. Recently, a business celebrated over 25 years of service but recognized the need to refresh her marketing materials. Our collaborative journey led to a redesign that not only modernized the identity but also aligned it more closely with their clinical approach.

Embracing a Clinical Identity

The client’s approach was rooted in clinical precision, rather than the relaxed vibe often associated with massage studios and spas. To express this identity, we focused on biological themes related to health. The logo design featured elements like muscle fibers and blood circulation, emphasizing a connection to physical well-being.

Color Choices that Connect

A fresh color palette played a crucial role in the redesign. We utilized shades of peach and pink, not to suggest femininity, but to symbolize warmth and vitality and the makeup of human bodies.

A New Business Card Design

Updating the business card was a pivotal aspect of this transformation. The streamlined design features clean lines that reflect the clinical nature of the services while incorporating a QR code and easy access to information.

A Revamped Website Experience

The website also experienced a major overhaul focused on user experience. Ensuring visitors can easily navigate and access relevant information was essential. The updated site continues to use the soft biological imagery of flow along with other movement and deeper colors providing a consistent brand experience.

The redesign uses CMS for easy updates by the clients for classes, FAQs and a 3rd party connection to her chosen bookings platform.

Embracing Your Business's Future

Many clients feel the logo or branding they've had for years would be challenging to update. Or they fear they'll loose recognition. A long-standing business doesn’t need to be confined by its history. Thoughtful updates to marketing materials can breathe fresh air into a legacy that respects its past while paving the way for the future. A well-crafted visual identity bridges tradition and modernity, allowing businesses to connect at a deeper level with their clientele.
